ABOUT THE JOB The Manager, Corporate & Business Development will play an instrumental role in formulating corporate strategic initiatives, unlocking growth opportunities and funding the business to enable growth. Initiatives may include investor relations, fundraising, competitive tracking and support of go-to-market activities. This role will report to the Director, Corporate & Business Development and is a Remote role within the U.S. Role &
Responsibilities:
Lead key corporate development and strategic growth initiatives in support of corporate objectives and timelines. Drive financing activities, ranging from project management to responding to investor questions. Develop Board and investor communication materials, building presentation materials that communicate key messages about Air Protein's solutions and business plans. Design and run analyses, providing analytical horsepower to the organization. Research & monitor the competitive landscape. Proactively investigate and think creatively about potential company initiatives or partnership opportunities to help grow the business and strengthen the supply chain. Contribute to the development of corporate strategy. Advocate for and report on sustainability outcomes within Air Protein. Other related duties to benefit the mission of the company. ABOUT YOU Bachelor's degree with 5
years of a mix of investment banking, management consulting, start-up, and/or strategy experience. Demonstrate strong business and financial acumen with an understanding of the implications of new technology development. Proven ability to analyze markets, products, and competitors and translate information into actionable intelligence. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear, easily understandable format, tailored to the audience. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Track record of delivering projects on time. Ability to prioritize effectively and independently in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. Experience with financing processes as well as negotiating deal documentation (term sheets, contracts) is helpful. Interest in driving sustainability through the food system.
